Set on a former Pitt Ohio Express truck yard in the vibrant Strip District, this 300-unit community invites residents to relax in sustainable designed and modern studios along the Allegheny River. The development includes 300 stacked one bedroom and two-bedroom apartment units on five floors over a podium with 185 underground parking spaces. Features include an outdoor courtyard, pool and deck area, fire pit, access to the river trail, fitness center and club room. The Yards achieved credits necessary for LEED Gold certification by implementing design, construction and operational sustainability strategies through a dynamic project team. The complex boasts features such as solar panels on the roof and water conserving fixtures in each apartment. McKim & Creed staff, provided electrical, fire protection, plumbing and mechanical engineering services for this project.
