The Pittsburgh Brewing Company converted the 140,000 SF former PPG facility into the new Iron City Brewery along the Allegheny River. McKim & Creed designed the HVAC, a 600 HP high pressure process steam plant, a 600 ton low temperature chilled water plant, and a process compressed air plant, as well as distribution piping, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure to support the facility and brewery operations. Additionally, there are distillery, restaurants and entertainment venues planned for this site.
