The Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Crimson Café is a 15,000 SF campus dining amenity containing two micro-restaurants, a soup and sandwich kiosk, and a coffee concept. The facility has platform specific seating as well as a general seating area for a total capacity of 400 plus additional exterior seating. Each micro-restaurant has its own kitchen, and common back-of-house areas will accommodate a receiving area, storage, utilities, waste and recycling, and an office. The McKim & Creed team provided mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering services for this new free standing dining facility on the campus of IUP. The Crimson Café houses a Starbucks, Burger Studio, the Fireplace Brick Oven Pizza, and a deli. The architect for this project is IKM Architecture.
