Mr. Jones is a seasoned Geomatics leader with a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering results. He has over three decades of experience in the survey profession and oversees McKim & Creed’s geomatics division, totaling over 400 employees. Having started as a rodman in 1986, Mr. Jones has extensive field and office experience in all aspects of surveying including hydrographic surveying. Throughout his career, he has overseen and executed a multitude of survey projects, varying in size from one-acre to thousands of acres. These projects spanned across the eastern seaboard, from Vermont to Florida, as well as the Caribbean, serving clients in the federal government, state government, and private sector. He is also a certified floodplain surveyor and a USCG OUPV Captain. As part of his duties as the Senior Vice President of Geomatics and business unit manager, Mr. Jones is responsible for quality assurance and quality control. He monitors McKim & Creed’s responsiveness and their ability to meet our commitments to our clients. Outside of his regular duties at McKim & Creed, Mr. Jones is the acting Secretary of the Council of Professional Surveyors (COPS), a coalition of surveyors within ACEC focused on helping its members with better business practices within the survey profession. Mr. Jones also serves on the Marine Technology Advisory Committee for Cape Fear Community College and President of the Southeastern Chapter of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors.

Mr. LaLuzerne is responsible for expanding the firm's remote sensing capabilities, focused on operational strategies for aerial and mobile lidar as well as photogrammetry. Considered a subject matter expert in remote sensing for transportation projects, Mr. LaLuzerne has served as the project manager and surveyor of record for design surveys of hundreds of corridor miles of FDOT roadways. Mr. LaLuzerne serves on committees to help develop best practices and standards with FDOT’s Central Office integrating surveying technology into the transportation design workflow. He is experienced leading large continuing service contracts and districtwide contracts, managing multiple assignments simultaneously.

Mr. Lambert has nearly 17 years of experience conducting hydrographic and topographic surveys in the United States and Brazil. He has served as a party chief for dozens of beach profile surveys for design, construction and monitoring of beach nourishment projects, as well as for reconnaissance and control establishment surveys and hydrographic surveys of navigational channels and borrow area sites using both singlebeam and multibeam survey systems. Mr. Lambert has also assisted with numerous geophysical and geotechnical surveys as well as environmental monitoring projects. In the past, he has served as a boat captain/navigator for the geophysical surveys and scuba dive investigations. Mr. Lambert is also a certified open water diver and certified Hypack Hydrographer.

Ms. DeOliveira is a trained Marine Technician and critical problem solver. Her extensive background includes vessel and sea equipment positioning, maintaining detailed logs, troubleshooting navigation equipment, processing navigation data and ensuring data was accurate and complete, and managing equipment inventory and installation. Her unique experience includes monitoring for sea turtles and marine mammals to properly log all sightings and implement mitigation measures to protect marine life during seismic activities.

Mr. McKiven, a U.S. Army veteran, has over 19 years of experience in the land and hydrographic surveying and mapping profession. He is a U.S. Coast Guard-certified Master Captain with expertise in a range of hydrographic operations, such as single- and multi-beam bathymetric surveys; sub-bottom surveying and profiling; side-scan surveys; bottom classification mapping; and endangered species studies. Mr. McKiven has successfully completed hydrography projects on bodies of water of varying size, from small ponds to large waterways, including Raritan Bay off Staten Island, Long Island Sound, NYS Canal System, and the Hudson River. In addition to his technical skills, Mr. McKiven is a HYPACK-certified professional with proficiency using SonarWiz 6.

Mr. Taylor has nearly two decades of experience in the survey industry. He specializes in transportation surveying and has been supervising survey operations for almost a decade. During this time, he has used conventional, mobile scanning and hydrographic survey equipment, as well as GPS. Mr. Taylor has worked on over 300 different surveying projects throughout his time with McKim & Creed. With his blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to improving transportation outcomes, Mr. Taylor fosters strong relationships with our stakeholders.

Mr. Soneja is the Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Program Manager for McKim & Creed based in Raleigh, NC. Mr. Soneja is highly experienced in the acquisition and processing of airborne lidar, particularly with unmanned airborne vehicles. He has worked on a wide variety of mapping projects utilizing an understanding of USGS Lidar Base Specifications as well as ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards (2014). Mr. Soneja has extensive experience in acquisition planning, survey control configuration, lidar & imagery acquisition, lidar calibration, pre/post-processing, and final deliverables. Mr. Soneja is a Certified Mapping Technologist in Lidar (LT067) and is an active member of the ASPRS currently serving as the Vice President of the Potomac Region and the Assistant Director for the Primary Data Acquisition Division (PDAD). In addition, Mr. Soneja is also involved in the development of solutions-based approaches for clients to help meet the needs of their unique projects.
