Northeast Brunswick Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion

Brunswick County selected McKim & Creed to provide engineering services for expansion of this regional wastewater treatment plant from a capacity of 2.5 mgd to 5 mgd. The scope of work also included design of approximately 5.5 miles of 16-inch and 18-inch sewer force main.

The Chatham Park Decentralized Water Recovery Center supports the initial stages of North Village, a 2,224-acre mixed-use village that is part of the $15-billion master planned community known as Chatham Park. North Village utilizes water sustainability practices, offers walking and biking trails, employs lighting techniques to mitigate impact on the night sky, and makes use of green building techniques.

Climate Resilience

City of St. Augustine WWTP Climate Resilience Analysis

McKim & Creed conducted a climate resiliency survey and analysis to assess the vulnerability of the City’s wastewater treatment plant to flooding. We also evaluated the impact of storm surge and sea level rise on the facility today and out to the year 2100, with interim assessments at years 2030, 2050 and 2070.
