McKim & Creed is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection utility design for the 120,000 sf Wake Technical Community College (WTCC) Perry Health Science Campus new Health Sciences building project - advanced planning phase. For electrical power, McKim & Creed is providing electrical distribution design from an exterior pad-mounted transformer to the Main Distribution Panel inside the building. For HVAC utilities, McKim & Creed is providing the design for a new central plant to service the new building (advanced planning will review provisions for potential future capacity expansion to 1-2 future planned adjacent buildings). McKim & Creed is also providing lighting design around the perimeter of the building, including sidewalks and pathways, and is providing a site lighting plan for the adjacent parking lot with power to the pole locations.
