McKim & Creed has provided a broad range of MEP
engineering and energy-focused services for WVU Medicine,
supporting both targeted facility upgrades and system-
wide operational improvements. Our experience includes
energy management design services for operating rooms at
Ruby Memorial Hospital, MEP design for the renovation of
a former ENT clinic into an expanded Weight Management
Clinic, and targeted mechanical improvements such as the
replacement of critical pharmacy and labopratory exhaust
equipment. Our team has also completed MEP infrastructure
assessments and technical studies across WVU Medicine
facilities, addressing HVAC performance, operating room
ASHRAE 170 compliance studies, space pressurization,
laboratory deficiency and pharmacy system deficiencies.
Through this partnership, McKim & Creed continues to help
WVU Medicine enhance system reliability, improve occupant
comfort, maintain regulatory compliance, and support high-
quality patient care while minimizing disruption to ongoing
clinical operations.
